Coast Film & Music Festival Returns For Its Fifth Consecutive Year

Laguna Beach Arts Alliance Recognizes CFMF as Best Arts Program of 2022

The Coast Film & Music Festival ( CFMF ) is back for its fifth Annual Film & Music Festival , showcasing a diverse range of independent feature and short films , musical performances and interactive experiences for the whole family from Nov . 8 to 12 .
The festival was recently honored with the Laguna Beach Arts Alliance 2022 Best Arts Program Award at its annual Art Stars event in April .
“ This recognition is truly an honor ,” said Ben Warner , the founder and
executive director of CFMF . “ It fills us with a deep sense of pride and renewed excitement as we prepare for our upcoming fifth annual event in November .”
CFMF is committed to fostering collaboration between creators and diverse communities , igniting ideas , and capturing the spirit of outdoor lifestyle , culture , conservation , and adventure . The festival will take place at the Festival of the Arts Fairgrounds in Laguna Beach . Passes and tickets will go on sale to the public after Labor
Day . During the festival , attendees can expect 60 plus documentary and adventure films ; Q & As with film directors , athletes , and special guests before and after screenings ; Speaker panels and workshops ; Youth Filmmaker and environmental stewardship programs ; Live music ; Art exhibitions and artist signings ; A lively exhibitor village with sponsors , non-profits and environmental partners ; Networking opportunities with filmmakers , athletes and creators and party time with local food , drink and a silent disco .

Officer Tony Manzano Receives Officer of the Year Award

Earlier this week , Laguna Beach Police Officer Tony Manzano was recognized by the Auto Theft Advisory Committee as the Officer of the Year for identifying and recovering the most stolen vehicles in Laguna Beach in 2022 .

Possession of a controlled substance , probation violation . Thomas Dylan Richeson , 34 , of Laguna Beach was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and paraphernalia and felony violation of probation . He was held without bail .
Parole violation . Craig Thomas Kampemeir , 50 , was arrested on suspicion of a felony parole violation . He was held without bail .
Possession of a controlled substance . Ian Mooradian , 29 , of Whittier was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance . He was held on $ 500 bail .
