Course Information- Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 Date; Saturday 25th March 2017 Address; Wharf St Logan Village Please arrive 07.45 for 08.00am start, anticipated finish 4pm Allow 8hrs (without lunch break) Please have the following • A thick towel or pillow to kneel on for CPR (if you’d like) • Any food, drink and snacks you need, including lunch (if applicable) • Consider wearing comfortable clothes, the course involves bending over • Working pen • Identification (government requirement) Participant obligations • You need to be present for the entire course, (or certificates can’t be issued) • There is a physical requirement for performing CPR on the floor, along with other activities such as rolling a person to their side for competency to be achieved • Activities required will be explained and are required for course completion and competency Please note these are set by Australian Government Codes, are audited regularly with harsh penalties applied to non-compliant training providers • Be prepared to have some fun • Arriving more than 15 minutes late, or not at all, fees are forfeited and you won’t be able to join the course • If you have current injuries or illness, it’s recommended waiting until you recover • Impact First Aid Training takes no responsibility for, or accepts any liability for injuries or exacerbation of injuries during training • If you /or you know of a group member that does not possess basic numeracy and literacy skills, you need to contact Impact First Aid Training at least one week prior to the course to discuss accommodating specific needs Thank you for your understanding!
