As Hosts of this year’s camp, the Gladstone District Bushwalkers invite
Capricornia and Bundaberg club members to join our members for the MayDay long
weekend of great walking & fellowship.
When; from Saturday 29th April to Monday 1st May 2017, camping open Friday
afternoon to Monday morning.
Where; Magpies Football grounds, Larson Street Miriam Vale, look for the Big Magpie!
Who; financial members of Capricornia, Bundaberg, Gladstone and any BWQ
affiliated bushwalking clubs.
Cost; $50 or $40 per person depending on your stay. This includes a substantial supper
on the Saturday night at our social bush dance party.

A full weekend of Bushwalks, catering for all levels of fitness, walks Saturday
Sunday & half day walks on Monday morning.
• Other activities include a bush dance, 4WD expedition to Kroombit Tops,
cycling, historical tours and games.
• Unpowered campsites around the football grounds.
• Hot showers, town water, flush toilets and kitchen facilities available.
• Large undercover area for communal activities and meals.
• Second hand shop - bring along any useful items you no longer need.
• Paddling available at 1770, bring your own or hire.
Close to town, so everything you might normally need is handy.
