Babygarten
Meets every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a. m. at the Laurel County Public Library. This is a trademarked program of reading to babies that helps teach parents how and why to read to babies. Classes use, songs, rhymes and activities that help babies with language. Preschool age children’ s programs are held every Tuesday and Wednesday. Beekeepers, Southeastern Kentucky
Organization
Meets March through October, the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p. m. at the Laurel County Extension Office. Each meeting is a potluck. A group that strives to educate and provides support for beekeepers. Call 864-4167 for dates and times.
Book Discussion Group
Meets at the Laurel County Public Library the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p. m. No registration is necessary and new members are welcome to drop in any time— even if they haven’ t read the book of the month. For more information, call 864-5759.
