Cumberland Valley Area
Development District Board
Meets at noon on the third Wednesday every other month at 342 Old Whitley Road, London. Board approves or denies allotment of money for projects within its eight county area— Laurel, Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Rockcastle, Knox and Whitley. For information contact 864-7391.

Kentucky Communities Economic
Opportunity Council
Meets the third Monday of every other month at 7 p. m., at the KCEOC office in Barbourville. Program serves more than 1,000 children and their families in Laurel, Knox, Clay, Harlan, Rockcastle and Jackson counties. Serving expectant mothers and children from birth to 4 years old; Head Start and Early Head Start promotes healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, enhances the development of young children, and promotes healthy family functioning. Laurel County Fiscal Court
Meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 9:30 a. m. on the third floor of the Laurel County Courthouse. Governing body of Laurel County, comprised of the judge-executive and six elected magistrates who oversee the finances of Laurel County. On holidays, meetings are held on fourth Tuesday of month.
