Homemakers Clubs
The Traditional Clubs focus on homemaking skills, personal growth, socialization, volunteer efforts and improving the community. Each club is unique, meeting at different days and times but they all present the monthly club lesson to the members. Most of the traditional clubs meet at the club member’ s homes. The Specialty Clubs focus on learning, developing and preserving a specific skill. You do not have to be an expert in the area— we are all students who attend to learn and grow. During the monthly meetings, members in these clubs work on personal projects, participate in group projects, and learn new techniques and methods from fellow members. Clubs meet at the Laurel County Extension Office unless otherwise noted.
