Dixie King began her OMS career in Human Resources as the payroll coordinator before she and her husband , Steve , began ministry in Japan . Dixie served in a variety of roles , such as field treasurer , field business manager , and Christian Mission Church treasurer . She also participated in evangelistic ministry through English classes . Dixie served with OMS for 12 years .
Leroy Lindsey joined OMS in 1996 and served faithfully for 27 years . He and his wife , Kay , spent 15 years ministering in Mexico , where , among other roles , he served as president of the OMSrelated Biblical Seminary of Mexico . Leroy was also part of OMS ’ Theological Education team . The Lindseys ’ ministry included schools and churches in 21 countries .
Marlene ( Marty ) Meek served with OMS Japan for several years , before and after marrying her husband , David . Her ministries included evangelism through conversational English and cooking classes , leading hospitality , and teaching English at the OMS-related Tokyo Biblical Seminary . The Meeks began serving at HQ in 2008 , where Marty ministered through hospitality . Marty was an OMS missionary for 42 years .
