Celesta Rea became an OMS missionary in 2001 and served for 13 years . She and her husband , Jack , ministered in East Asia , where Celesta ’ s roles included field hostess and short-term ministry coordinator . She also helped at the OMS-related denomination in East Asia , led Bible studies , and advocated for groups of women who had disabilities .
Joe Spate and his wife Kristen began ministry with OMS in 1973 . The Spates followed God ’ s leading to serve in missions however the Lord could use them . Joe served as a homeland missionary in data processing for the next 10 years . Joe was a devoted husband , father , and grandfather . His greatest joy was serving people .
Stanley Tam was a committed Christ follower , passionate evangelist , and longtime OMS supporter . He founded the United States Plastic Corporation ( USPC ). Stanley and his wife , Juanita , gave 100 percent of USPC ’ s profits to missions . Stanley led more than 400,000 people to a personal faith in Jesus Christ and assisted thousands of others in spreading the Gospel .
Lowell Williamson was born in Japan , where his parents served as OMS missionaries . In 1951 , he joined OMS and served in Japan for 22 months then in Taiwan for 8 months . Lowell and his wife , Naomi , worked in Taiwan for the next 35 years and then continued ministry even after retirement . Lowell spent more than 60 faithful years with OMS .
