Smoke Alarms When the weather changes in the fall , it is important to be proactive in checking smoke detector batteries . Please ensure that your smoke alarms are in working order and install new batteries if needed .
House Numbers Could Emergency Services find you if your life depended on it ? In an emergency , Fire , EMS , and Police depend on house numbers to find your residence as soon as possible . We know the community is vast . One turn can lead you to a street with similar looking houses in some villages and some villages have what seem like hidden drives off winding roads . Please ensure you have posted your home numbers following Frederick County and LLA requirements and codes .

Leaves & Yard Waste Pickup Yard waste pickup is on Wednesdays and must be placed at the curb by 6am . Audubon Condos and Linganore Garden Condos yard waste questions should be directed to Clagett Management ( 301-663-6009 ). Please note that homeowners are responsible for leaf maintenance within their lots .
Grass , clippings , and leaves must be bagged in paper bags or placed in personal containers no larger than 30 gallons in size ( clearly marked “ Yard Waste ”). Sticks and limbs must be bundled , and bundles may not be larger than 3 x 3 feet in size . Dirt , soil , and mulch are not accepted .
LLA offers residents yard waste curbside pickup every Wednesday from April to December . The 2023 Yard Waste collection period is from April 5th to December 13th .
Why is Yard Waste offered during this timeframe ?
This is due to the falling of leaves in mid- November as well as grass and plant material going dormant in the cooler months ( or being covered in snow or frost ).
Deer Management Program The LLA Deer Management Program is currently underway . The remaining dates are November 2nd , 14th , 16th , and 21st . Signage will be posted in common area while the program is underway . Any questions regarding the program can be directed to Brett Hamilton at BHamilton @ lakelinganore . org .
