LLA Office Holiday Closures The LLA Office will be closed on Thursday , November 23rd and Friday , November 24th .
Save the Date : LLA Fireworks LLA fireworks will be on December 31st . Please review the Community Calendar for more information .
Line of Sight : School Buses Please check your property to ensure the line of sight while driving is not obstructed by a tree , bush , or structure . Please trim back any trees , shrubs , or plants to appropriately open a line of sight to ensure safety within our roadways . An adequate line of sight is especially vital while school buses are regularly navigating through the neighborhood .
Trash & Recycling Pickup Residents are reminded that trash containers must be placed at the curb for collection either the evening before collection or no later than 6:30 am on the morning of collection . Please do not anticipate when the trash contractor will be in your area . Containers should also be retrieved and screened from streetview in between pickup days . Please note , recycling pickup is through Frederick County .
At Your Own Risk Please be advised , all recreational activity in Lake Linganore is “ at your own risk ”, and the Association actively discourages unsafe behavior , including jumping into the lake from the bridge , esplanade , and cliffs .
Photography on Common Property Please be advised , attendees at any Lake Linganore Association event or common area may be asked to show their Membership ID or be photographed / video recorded . Photos and videos taken may appear on the LLA website , in LakeTalk , on the Association ’ s social media platforms , or in other LLA publications .
Golf Carts Golf carts can be a great asset to the community by lessening the parking and traffic issues in common areas . Golf cart owners are asked to know and understand the areas where golf carts are allowed and prohibited . Please remember to update your registration info and pay the annual $ 50 registration fee .
Pet Waste Please remember to pick up after your pet . There are over 70 pet waste stations throughout the villages in LLA to conveniently dispose pet waste .
LakeTalk Reading Options LLA provides a digital edition available to all Members and no longer provides a printed physical copy to those who subscribe . The digital version is uploaded to the file library and posted as an announcement in your Member Account every month . Members with an email address on file will receive an email notification with a link to the magazine-style digital version . Please note , all Members without an email address on file will not receive the digital LakeTalk , and will need to download the PDF .
