6th Annual Bike Rodeo
Saturday, September 30, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Deerpath/Oak-
wood Avenue parking lot; free.
The Lake Forest Police Department Bike Rodeo is back on!
Cancelled in May due to severe weather, this popular event has
been rescheduled. The entire family will enjoy a day of fun,
food, games, giveaways and prizes. Kids, bring your bikes and
helmets to try your skills at the many safety stations. Be sure
to catch BMX Champion Marshall Gehrke as he demonstrates
his award-winning biking skills. You can register online at lake-
forestpolice.com or in person at the event.
The BMW Championship is returning to Conway Farms
Golf Club in Lake Forest September 12-17. Come see the
top 70 players in the world compete in the penultimate
event of the PGA TOUR FedExCup Playoffs. Conducted
by the Western Golf Association to benefit the Evans
Scholars Foundation, the BMW Championship is the third
of four events in the PGA Tour Playoffs.

Tickets range in price beginning at $25, depending on
your ticket package choice.
Spectator parking is at Six Flags Great America, 1 Great
America Parkway in Gurnee. Complimentary shuttle
service will be provided to and from Conway Farms Golf
Club. The best option for local spectators or for those
coming in by train is to use the free shuttle service from
both Lake Forest’s East Train Station or the Telegraph
Road Train Station.
BMW owners have several benefits on-site at the BMW
Championship, starting with exclusive access to the
BMW Owners’ Pavilion, located in a premier viewing area
overlooking the 17th tee box.
