God’s Grace
I
watched as the prism hanging in
my kitchen window caught the
sunlight streaming in. It is just a
piece of glass. There is really nothing
special about it, that is, until the light
shines through it!
When light shines through a prism,
it gives off beautiful colors that change
as the light changes position—the
source of light and the prism remain the same, only the positioning
changes. The prism may not look like
much on its own, but its maker knew
exactly how to create the perfect cuts
so the prism could radiate an array
of color and brilliance. It is amazing
what light can do with something that
seems ordinary at first glance.
