While on the topic of the rise of technology in
all domains; we now hear about how AI
(Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine
Learning) is transforming the landscape with
several jobs even the high-end ones set to be
automated. While its still too early to be
definitive about the trajectory, some level of
upheaval seems inevitable along with the
positives. As a senior HR leader, how do you
see this playing out in the Indian technology
space - the challenges and the opportunities
for companies and leaders?
I am all excited in this upcoming new generation of
HR combined with AI and Machine learning. We are
slowly beginning to see the inclusion of chatbots
among our plethora of HR offerings, for example in
the space of benefits queries and employee self
service.
I can see that this can develop into an interesting
phenomenon staring at us, where much of the
transactional processes can be automated through
machine learning and bots and HR truly turning
itself into a transformational unit.
