In your experience in developing leadership talent, do you find
any differences in approaches or mindset towards the importance
of employee recognition across generational cohorts? And also in
your opinion is there a variation even within this phenomenon
across geographies?
It is in fact today’s widely opined subject on managing diverse and
multi generational workforce. Yes, there are deliberate differences
between how multigenerational workforces need to be recognized.
Maturity and diversity in reward systems is a must in todays global
and multi generational organizations.
All that said, it cannot be undermined that one thing remains
common irrespective of diversity of workforce and that is about
timeliness of recognition. Timeliness and appropriateness of
recognition is universal and should be the base foundation
