Annual review 2022
Cybersecurity Cybercrime has gone up significantly in recent years . For any organisation , falling victim to hacking or ransomware attacks can be a very serious incident . Too many still have no contingency plan for cyberattacks and therefore find themselves far too vulnerable to such attacks .
In an effort to help organisations better protect their digital assets , the EU has stepped up regulation on the area . NIS2 and DORA will therefore undoubtedly be something that most organisations will have to engage with in 2023 and in the years to come . This growing trend is also reflected in the number of cases we are handling . Acknowledging the increasing importance of these aspects , we have brought together the top experts in the field to help businesses implement better cybersecurity mechanisms and safeguards . On page 28 , partners Christel Teglers and Søren Skibsted advise on how to best go about this in a Danish corporate context .
Organic growth Our clients , of course , expect advice tailored to their particular business and their particular circumstances . One of our strengths is that we are a full-service law firm . This allows us to always assemble just the right team from across our practice areas to meet the particular needs of each client .
We are a top-tier law firm . And while we take pride in our premier ranking , we are very aware that we cannot take anything for granted . We must stay attractive in the eyes of our clients – and for that , we need to be the best . That realisation is what keeps us constantly adding new competencies , new resources . Our strategy is one of organic growth . In 2022 , however , we made an exception when we managed to bring in partner Pia Kirstine Voldmester and the rest of her team of GDPR specialists to join us . On 1 April 2023 , we further strengthened the team , welcoming partner Birgitte Toxværd into our firm .
