student n º 10 TIMETABLE DIFFERENCES
When my partner from Germany came here, she told me that we had a very different timetable.
In the morning we start classes more or less at the same time but they get up earlier than us because most of them live away from the High School. So, they have to go there by bicycle, train or walking. They have class until 13:00 p. m. and after that, they take a break to have lunch. In the afternoon they usually finish at half past three and they have all afternoon to do sports or to study. We also finish at half past three, but as we have seven hours one after the other we don ' t have lunch until we arrive home. And this is really hard for us because we are so hungry and tired.
The other big difference between our timetables is that they have dinner at six or seven o ' clock and we have dinner about nine or ten o ´ clock. So we usually go late to bed. Also in Germany people use to finish working earlier than in Spain and because of that they can spend more time with the family. In Spain people often have two hours to have lunch, but they finish working very late and they can ' t be with the family much. This is the main reason to go later to bed than german people. Despite that a lot of people want to change this to have more free time for them and for the others.
