Finzomania is the annual financial quiz that is
organized by the finance club of SIMSR “Finstreet”.
We received a very enthusiastic response from
students across all majors for Finzomania. Totally,
there were 58 teams (2 members each) registered
for the online round on 6th October. Out of these,
33 were shortlisted for the second round which
consisted of a written round and a stage round of
an elaborate quiz on 8th of October. The quiz
covered questions from diverse areas of finance

like derivatives, mutual funds, banking, insurance
etc. which also tested the students’ reasoning,
analytical and decision making skills.
Harsh Harwani and Rohit Sarangi (both from PGB) emerged as the winners of the event. The
runners up were Monysh Bandeally and Dattatray
Bhandarkar (both second year students).
