Know thyself Alumni and students interacting in the event of Anveshan

The most awaited Alumni portal was unveiled
on the occasion of Anveshan 2014 by our ARM
Vidhya Sharma.

T

he day we all waited for, had finally arrived.
ANVESHAN 2014 began in the morning of 6th
September, with alumni descending down upon
the campus in numbers to guide their juniors on the
nitty-gritties of life at a B school for the two years to
follow.
The event began with a welcome note for the
alumni followed by a presentation showcasing all
the alumni events that took place in the academic
year 2014. Our Alumni Relations Manager (ARM)
Ms. Vidhya Sharma took this opportunity to unveil
the Alumni portal which will henceforth act as the
main interface between the institute and our
revered alumni. Through this portal, our alumni will
get regular updates on the college activities; job
postings as well as they can easily connect with the
faculty and batch mates.
Soon after this, the alumni were escorted to
different rooms for open interaction with the first
year PGDM, MMS and MCA students.
As the Imprints team took rounds of different
rooms, first in turn was the room for marketing
aspirants. The room was beaming with enthusiastic
alumni, fresh out of college, who had joined big
names like Deloitte Consulting, Havells, Renoir
consulting and Capgemini. They emphasised on
the importance of concurrent projects, B-school
competitions and how being a part of college
committees had added value to their career as well
personal growth. While students enquired on the

kind of profiles offered to marketing managers,
branding, market research and so on, the
