Kimley-Horn has provided design and full construction administration services for a number of projects at Tucson International Airport . Projects have included the main terminal apron , which required the removal of an existing asphaltic concrete ramp , reconstruction of a parallel taxiway , as well as the reconstruction of a service road and ramp . Additional efforts included the development of a construction phasing plan and an aircraft ground traffic routing plan ; and an air freight apron expansion to serve additional aircraft parking areas . Kimley-Horn also designed the overlay / reconstruction of Runways 11L-29R and 11R-9L and cargos , customs and service aprons , including construction administration services . Recently , Kimley-Horn developed an Airport Pavement Management System ( APMS ) update for airside and landside pavements at Tucson International Airport , and landside pavements at Ryan Airfield .
