Galveias
Preschool Classroom
In Galveias the project Kiitos@21 st Century Preschools takes place at
Infantário D. Anita. Throughout the school year all sorts of activities are
planned by the pedagogical team and some of those activities include
parents as well.
The first set of photos is the result of a child’s proposal after listening to the
story “Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?”, by Eric Carle. Each child
made a drawing of one of the animals and in the end the children decided to
add two more animals because there were two colours missing in the story.
They were so pleased with the result of their work that they decided to create
a colour wall.
The second set of pictures represents a different way of telling a story, the
pictures are made in front of the children as the story is told. Children love to
see the drawings come to life.
