Longomel
Preschool Classroom
This activity started as a collaboration activity in Longomel. Children
listened to a story “A quadradinha” and then explored it.
In a first moment the story was read and explored in Portuguese and in
English.
In a second moment children played a game - ”Find some shapes” - with
all the objects in the classroom.
In a third moment we listened to some poems about the shapes, and the
music teacher did a song with them.
Then, in a fourth moment we started with a shapes puzzle. Children chose
the pictures/puzzle they wanted to play and memorized the sequence.
And finally they did a worksheet to consolidate the work done.
