content and appearance.
Quality of reproduction is
contingent upon the quality
of materials furnished.
If you are concerned about
accurate color matching, we
ask that you provide a color
proof. Please note: artwork
provided electronically is
subject to mistranslation
through computer error.
When such mistranslation is
minor, involving minimal
portions
of
the
advertisement, and the
advertisement is printed
general ly correctly, the
advertising will be deemed to
have been printed
satisfactorily and there will
be no grounds for dispute as
to mistaken printing of the
advertisement. Minor
mistakes in printed work
from electronic files will be
excused as satisfactory
printing
of
the
advertisement. No refunds
will be provided for minor
errors.
Changes to existing ads
require new artwork be sent
with the changes clearly
marked on a copy of the new
artwork. This helps us in the
proofing process to insure
the correct ad is used.
All advertising is accepted on
a pre-paid basis and requires
a signed advertising
agreement. You will receive a
newspaper copy by mail
delivery each issue in which
your ad appears.
Graphical layout
Ads must take up the entire
space of the image size
you've chosen, and they
can't appear sideways or
upside down. Ads can't be
segmented, contain multiple
copies of itself within the ad,
or appear to be more than
one ad. Also, your ad should
always be submitted in the
full original format size.
What can I do if my ad is
disapproved?
If your ad isn’t compliant
with our policies it will be
disapprove d. Please remove
any references to
unacceptable content and
resubmit. If you think your
ad was incorrectly
disapproved, you can request
a review and sit-down with
the publisher. A disapproved
ad won't be able to run until
the policy violation is fixed
and the ad is approved.
The
word
“Advertisement” will be
added by us, in font size
11-16 at the top or bottom
of any ad the editor
determines is in need of
labeling to avoid confusion
with editorial content.
Premium Positions:
awarded on a first-come,
first- served basis. All other
guaranteed requests shall be
up-charged 10% of earned
rate.
Cancellation :
no
cancellations accepted after
the applicable “deadline”
dates. advertiser shall be
subject to all applicable ad
charges, even if advertiser
fails to provide necessary ad
copy by such date.
Rates listed are per ad
per issue and listed in
Trinidad and Tobago dollars.
We make no publishing
commitments without
seeing complete professional
photography (its quality
being a factor in our
decision), and we look for
images in which the lighting
detail is clear.
Commercial advertising is
accepted provided it meets
the ethical standards of the
editorial team. Advertising
must be prepared and ready
for printing.
