Why Keele and humanities?
From revolution to road movies, Byron to Obama,
writing a novel or composing a symphony, Keele offers
a stimulating research environment for master’s study
in the humanities. No society can understand itself
without the humanities. If science tells us how we are
human, the humanities answer the question why.
We have a proven record in research-led teaching in
the creative industries, literature, history and American
studies. Our staff are drawn from around the world,
and have produced prize winning books, screenings
and orchestral works. We pride ourselves on small
group supervision, innovative courses and a full
grounding in applied and theoretical methodology.
