Medicine at Keele has managed to develop a lively and dynamic curriculum through undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The size of the School of Medicine allows it to enable co-operative working to get the best speakers delivering teaching within their sphere of excellence. Keele is developing a national and international reputation for certain areas of study which provide students with numerous interesting and stimulating study options Why postgraduate study? Postgraduate Medicine has focused on its strengths of leadership, Medical Education and Anatomical Science. Our modules allow students to progress their study and research skills and add value to the competency based learning so often encountered in the postgraduate medical setting. The department collaborates with its neighbours in the University e.g. the internationally renowned Arthritis Research Council research institute and with the Medical Education research programme at the Medical school, to bring the best research and statistics teaching to every student. Leadership training engages an array of nationally recognised specialists to enrich the diversity, quality and practical application of module content as illustrated in the feedback from the courses. The Anatomical Science suite has facilitated a growing number of intercalating students to enjoy studying in a state of the art dissection and anatomy facility.
