I ERIC OMONDI t is often said that laughter is the best medicine that explains why there is suddenly several doses of the same in almost every station. Take Kenya Kona Show for example, hosted by Jalang’o, Otoyo and Mshamba. It features a kaleidoscope of top comedians including Dr. Ofweneke of Milele FM, Ole Matope of KBC, Ole Masikio, Alex Mathenge of Q-FM, Fred Kasuku, Sleepy, and Kafisho, among others . But they are not alone in the laughter department, the hugely popular Churchill Show on NTV still leaves many a fan in stitches. Churchill Show is one of the top rated shows in Kenya, raking in major ad dollars from the biggest corporate companies in Kenya. Churchill Live has featured prominent personalities including artistes, singers, famous actors, radio personalities, politicians and many others. He recognizes the presence and potential of young children in media through ‘Toto’s Corner’ segment which features kindergarten and primary school children from various schools especially within Nairobi. It helps that he has the starring roles of most sought after comedian Eric Omondi and up and coming star AKA.
