Frank Priest , National Councillor [ sic ] placed a motion before the Convention : “ Rosse Case , the president of our Aasociation , is unable to be with us because of illness . There is no one man , who because of a principle established early in his life of being loyal to his friends and fair in all his dealings , that could have done as much for our association as he has during the past year . He was brought about a friendlier contact with the Field Club , the company executives and many large and small agents who have in the past not been in entire sympathy with our association . We believe that his health has been affected , to some degree , by the intense amount of effort he has put into the association ’ s affairs , working day , night , and Sundays on our behalf . I , therefore , move that we extend a raising note of appreciation , love and respect to Rosse Case .”
