James shared that after receiving final numbers from Arlene, 2024 Champ show made $ 79,920 and this does not include the $ 11,000 owed from MN 4H. Arlene will share reports during the general meeting. There will be an online submittal form for vendors this year. Julie volunteered to contact nearby campgrounds for Lake Bllesby, to check out options for additional camping.
Computer: Jake Flodquist Absent. Jake has updated the headers on champshow. org and they now show the correct year going forward.
Drills and Squares: Marlys Mooney
Absent. There will be two groups participating at the state fair this year, Wright Saddle Club and Flying Es. If any other groups are interested, please reach out to Marlys.
Futurity: Kim Ziegler Absent. Lynn shared that they have been working together on the judge’ s schedule and award possibilities.
Historian: Tim Wampfler
Tim would like to move digital, by pulling significant events from minutes and then cataloging the historical events. Right now, he is brainstorming how to make this happen.
Judges: Lynn-Ellen St. Martin
The committee is preparing for the judge’ s seminar coming up the end of this month on March 22 nd, at the Leatherdale Equine Center. 2 applicants will for sure be tested, with the possibility for more.
Marketing & Promotions: Rachel Duenow
Rachel has been working on vendor, sponsorship and advertising applications, and they will be available in the upcoming March spotlight and be shared on Facebook and the website. The digital Spotlight continues to be a great resource, and Herald Journal shared that the Spotlight had a higher opening rate than a lot of newspapers that they work with. Nominating: Ann Goebel
Ann Goebel absent, Vice-Chair Courtney Betsch gave the committee report. There are four board member terms that will be up. Those interested are encouraged to reach out to the committee for more information as well as complete the application. The application will be posted in the spotlight and must be turned into a committee member.

Lori gave recognition to past WSCA Royalty Alumni present at today’ s meeting. Royalty Alumni in attendance included, Sara Schwartz Ms. Horsemanship 2015-2016 / Ms. Horsemanship 2021-2022 / WSCA Princess 2023-2024, Julia Northwick WSCA Queen 2016-2017, Lori Taylor WSCA Princess 2011-2012, Natali Steffensen Ms. Horsemanship 2023-2024, Courtney Betsch Ms. Games / Ms. Congeniality 2023-2024, Bridget Behrens WSCA Princess 2008-2009, Eliza Chyba Ms. Horsemanship 2019-2021, Kristiina Thums WSCA Princess 2019-2021, Bella Witucki Ms. Games 2021-2022, Reanna Benson WSCA Queen 2023-2024, Sara Smith WSCA Princess 2022-2023, Brooke Decker Ms. Games 1995-1996, and McKenzie Wagelie Ms. Games 2019-2021. The current court introduced themselves to the general delegation shared on events they have attended. This included attending saddle club banquets. The court participated in a polar plunge and raised over $ 700 for Special Olympics. They are hoping to attend a Rodeo in Fargo. Getting reading for the Royalty Clinic and Horse Expo. The Royalty fundraiser show will be held June 7 th at Northwest Arena. The court also attended Skijoring event at Canterbury, where current Ms. Games Bella Witucki participated with past Ms. Games Courtney Betsch.
