Charbonneau Arts Association ( CAA ) depends , in part , on donations from residents who wish to support the local high school performing

MCLAIN and fine arts teachers and students . You can go online to CharbonneauArts . org website to donate with a credit card , or you can drop off a check at the activities desk at the Activity Center . Any amount is appreciated by us and is tax deductible by you ( please confirm this with your tax advisor ).

CAA is offering a special benefit to residents who have a passion for the arts and the financial ability to make a significant donation . Any resident who donates $ 500 to Charbonneau Arts Association ( a 501c3 organization ) will receive a benefit of two Music Stage season passes to all the remaining music concerts ( listed below ) in the 2024 season .

As of June 5 , there are five concerts remaining in the 2024 CAA Music Stage Concert Series — see list below in this article , and descriptions in more detail on the CharbonneauArts . org website under the Music Stage Series menu .

Two complimentary tickets for each of the remaining concerts in 2024 will be added to the Will Call lists at the concerts .

June 30 Concert : Sally Harmon , Grace , Passion and Virtuosity on Charbonneau ’ s Grand Piano , is coming to Charbonneau on Sunday , June 30 at 6 p . m . in the Clubhouse . With 26 releases and well over a million recordings sold , Sally thrills audiences internationally with her passionate and entertaining piano appearances . Her formal training from age 4 through her master ’ s program , plus being on a university piano faculty , does not stop her from her antics on stage . Sally parodies classical music , tells wild stories and plays beautifully-woven melodies of her own with grace , passion and virtuosity .

Her husband Frank is an accomplished jazz bass player , and has instilled in her an appreciation for swing , jazz and pop influences . Now Sally ’ s music is a marriage of many styles . Sally says “ I like smaller , more intimate types of venues , like Charbonneau , where I can improvise and have more fun . I love being around people and entertaining . I like that “ oneon-one ” feeling that happens in smaller rooms . I use my classical training to do arrangements of popular and most requested songs that everybody likes to hear .”

Proceeds from all Music Stage concert events support the performing and fine arts teachers and students at Wilsonville and Canby schools .

We need volunteers

Charbonneau Arts Association has been supporting the arts at schools and Charbonneau for the past 40 years . This longevity was possible due to many dedicated volunteers from the Charbonneau community . We are currently in need of a few new people to step up and continue the mission of this organization . You don ’ t need to be an accomplished artist or musician . Just bring a passion for the arts in our community and at our local schools .
