Something to Cheer About
The Visitation of Our Lady cheerleaders attended a four-day cheerleading camp in July hosted by the Universal Cheerleader ' s Association . On the final day of camp , the team competed against 6 other junior high teams and placed first in their Xtreme Routine , Sideline Cheer , and Overall Game Day Performance ! They also placed second in Cheer and received a Spirit Stick !
Our cheerleaders support our school throughout the year by spreading school spirit at football games , basketball games , pep rallies , and performing at the annual Cajun Fest . They also sell baked goods at the Lenten Seafood Suppers .
The VOL cheerleaders are hosting a fundraiser this month to help support the squad . They will be selling VOL spirit items such as water bottles , travel coffee mugs and metal tumblers . Please visit the school ' s webpage ( www . school . vol . org ) for more information .
