Joshua Assistant City Manager Mike
Peacock said the park is heavily visited,
especially during the summer to play on
the splash pad and during baseball sea-
son. The JBSA schedules the games and
operates the concession facility, with city
park staff maintaining the fields.
The pavilion is available for rental,
with the pond stocked with catfish,
black bass and perch. The park also
hosts movies in the park for resi-
dents and the annual Spark in the
Park for Joshua ISD students to
receive free school supplies, hair-
cuts and physicals free of charge.
The park is open from 5 a.m. to
11 p.m. daily. Special permission
may be granted by the city manager
or their designee for organized sports or
special events that may last past closing
time. If special permission is granted, the
park shall be closed when the permitted
activity ceases.
