With certified personal trainers, adults can strive to their fitness level with the right
scheduling and personal goals.
Programs for teenagers ages 13 to 17 are designed to encourage them to con-
duct community service with an “asset-building” approach so they can develop
life-long skills and a successful life. Teens can also join the YMCA Teen Advisory
Council. Children can participate in several sports, including fall soccer for ages 3
to 12 and fall flag football for ages 4 to 12.
The Youth Orientation is a free required class for members ages 8 to 15 who are
interested in using the equipment in the facility where they will learn the funda-
mentals of cardio training, machine introduction and gym etiquette. The YMCA
also offers swim lessons, certified lifeguard lessons, youth and government pro-
grams, health and wellness classes, a summer day camp, family nights and par-
