Lasallian Distinguished Service Award
Ahmad bin Mohammed Fahmy is a deserving recipient of the Lasallian Distinguished Service Award for his integrity, compassion and commitment to serving others. Cheerful, dependable and responsible, Ahmad is wellrespected by both peers and teachers. A confident communicator, he engages well with people from all backgrounds and responds to feedback with humility and a desire to grow.
As Captain of Fintan Fraternity, Ahmad was an inspiring leader who fostered unity and purpose among members. He played a key role in energising the fraternity during school events, including Year 1 Orientation Camp. He also strengthened class spirit by organising events such as farewell parties and group celebrations.
Ahmad is a passionate advocate for the Malay Language. As a Rakan Bahasa appointed by the Malay Language Council, he promotes the language actively on school and national platforms, inspiring others to embrace their cultural heritage.
In Judo, Ahmad led Values-in-Action projects, including food drives with Food from the Heart. His leadership, organisation and dedication to service have made a lasting impact. Through his cheerful spirit and selfless actions, Ahmad truly lives out the Lasallian mission of being a Man for Others.
Anshuman Nair( LE403)
Lasallian Distinguished Service Award
Anshuman Nair is a young man whose leadership, kindness and humility have made a lasting impact on the SJI community. What makes him stand out is his empathy, moral courage and selflessness with which he serves others.
As Vice-Head Prefect, Anshuman led with quiet strength and maturity, always putting the community first. He played key roles in coordinating major school events and managing international exchanges, showing sensitivity to cultural differences and a desire to unite people. His participation in the interreligious dialogue with Pope Francis was a defining moment, reflecting his respect for diversity and belief in building bridges across faiths.
He also served as Peer Support Leader for the 2024 Orientation Camp, coorganised Prefect Camp and led the Games Committee for Student Council Camp, creating spaces of inclusion and joy. His ability to inspire and support others made him a role model for younger students.
Anshuman’ s compassion extended through service projects like marine conservation in Ko Samui, supporting the elderly and leading the Lent Project 2025. Academically, he excelled in Geography, Literature and STEM, while remaining humble and always eager to grow.
