Photography Club
Photography CAS at SJI offers students a platform to explore their passion for photography while developing a range of nuanced skills and techniques. Through workshops, practice sessions and events, members are given diverse opportunities to refine their skills across photographic styles which include macro photography, portraiture and software editing skills.
The CAS covers major school events from Sports Day and Cross Country competitions to celebrations like Racial Harmony Day, Teachers’ Day and National Day. Experienced members also conducted exciting workshops on Car Photography, Street Photography and film emulsions, imparting valuable lessons not just on technical knowhow but also patience and perseverance.
Collaborations with other CAS groups add an enriching layer to the programme. These include partnerships with Astronomy CAS to witness celestial events and trying out light painting in darkly lit environments. Such collaborations not only blend artistic creativity and scientific curiosity but also strengthen camaraderie across the CAS groups.
