In the basketball finals!
The SJI Basketball teams entered 2025 with renewed determination and clear objectives. Our A Division boys dedicated themselves to rigorous evening training sessions, refining their skills and building team cohesion. Their perseverance culminated in a hard-fought group stage victory that showcased their growth and collective resolve.
The B Division competed admirably in the National School Games, securing strong wins in the first group stage before facing formidable South Zone opponents. The C Division boys, however, made school history by emerging as national champions in League 1— an achievement that earned recognition in The Straits Times and positioned SJI as a rising force in basketball.

Basketball B Div team
Beyond competitive play, both B and C Division teams gained valuable experience through participating in the Singapore Premier Basketball League and Youth Cup. A 2-day-1-night training camp during the March holidays further strengthened bonds within the teams. Through dedication, resilience and exemplary sportsmanship, SJI Basketball demonstrated that true excellence extends beyond the scoreboard to character development and teamwork.
