Badminton
The 2025 National School Games proved a fruitful season for SJI Badminton. Our B Division boys began their South Zone campaign with an unblemished record in the preliminary rounds, holding their own against powerhouses RI and ACSI to reach the top four. They went on to defeat ACS Barker to claim 3rd place in the Zone and advanced to the Nationals, where they displayed grit in overcoming Maris Stella, Nan Hua and St Patrick’ s. Despite narrow quarter-final losses to RI and ACSI( Independent), the team secured a commendable top 8 national finish.
The C Division boys too demonstrated resilience in their campaign. After a hard-fought semi-final against Anglican High, they narrowly missed a finals berth. In the 3rd / 4th placing match against ACSI, the team put up a spirited fight but fell 1-4, concluding their season as South Zone top 4 finishers. Both divisions exemplified determination and pride in representing SJI.
