His leadership as Unit Chairperson earned him the respect and admiration of his peers , and in 2024 , he was awarded the prestigious SPF-NPCC Badge , the highest honor for NPCC cadets in Singapore .
Ethan ' s leadership extended beyond his CCA to his role as a student leader with the Prefectorial Board , where he was selected to serve on the Prefects Executive Committee ( EXCO ). In this position , he contributed significantly to improving the school experience for all Josephians . One of his notable achievements was organizing the Year 1 Orientation Camp , a project that helped new students transition into SJI . Ethan described this experience as eyeopening , as he learned valuable project management skills and recognized the importance of fostering friendships and bonds among Josephians . This was also a way for him to give back , as he had similarly benefited from the support of senior Josephians when he first joined the school .
More recently , Ethan played a key role in the Mahalo Carnival Committee , which raised funds to support migrant workers in the community . His commitment to advocating for underappreciated members of society demonstrates his deep sense of empathy and his desire to uplift those in need .

Over the past four years , he has made a lasting positive impact on the lives of others , making him a deserving recipient of the Lasallian Distinguished Service Award .
