Interview Questions
An ‘icebreaker’ question is used to make you feel comfortable before the
interview questions begin.
How was your journey here today? Tell us a little about yourself, where you are
working now? Why you have applied for this position.
Your evidence here should be an overview to set the scene as the interview
questions will explore your evidence further and in more detail.
You will be asked a series of Competency Based (Behavioural) interview questions.
These are designed to test your personal skills and experience in the following areas:
 Serving the public • Professionalism
 Openness to change • Decision making
 Service delivery • Working with others
Ensure you evidence each of these competencies well in your application form as
they will appear here too! Always have more than one example for each!
Use relevant employment examples from no more than five years ago!
