RobCooper.UK 2017 End of interview – any questions? At the end of the interview the chair will ask if you have any questions to ask. This is not an opportunity for you to bombard the panel with a list of questions, especially when some of the answers have already been discussed during the interview or are readily available on the company’s website or on the Role Profile. Only ask two or three questions at the very most. It demonstrates to the panel that you are keen and have thought about the role. You could say to the interview panel “In preparing for today's interview, I took some time to research and write down a few questions. I’d like to know…”  Be strategic. Cover information not discussed or clarify a previous topic  Ask questions that are specific to the role  What do you consider the most important criteria for success in this job?  How will my performance be evaluated?  What are the opportunities for advancement within the company? The chair interviewer will then close the interview and tell you when you are likely to hear from them as to the success of your job interview for the position you have applied for. www.robcooper.uk 6
