Life in Perth has been exceptional and we have lived here for 27 years arriving the day the space shuttle blew up in January 1986. Western Australia has a total population of just under 2 million with most living in Perth and its surrounding communities many of which are located on the beautiful Indian Ocean. The Swan River divides the town North and South and the river flows out towards

the ocean. Along the river are the most exclusive suburbs with some very impressive multi-million dollar houses. Perth is a beautiful city that has enjoyed strong growth due to very large projects in mining and oil and gas. It used to boast more high net worth people per capita than any other city in Australia. It is a sister city to San Diego and if you overlay a map of the USA over Australia, Perth would be located roughly where San Diego is. It takes around 5 hours to fly from Perth to Sydney and 4 hours to Melbourne, both located on the Eastern seaboard where the Pacific
