Mission Statement :
Clínica Esperanza / Hope Clinic ( CEHC ) is a 501 ( c ) 3 volunteer-run organization that provides free health care to all uninsured Rhode Islanders . CEHC ’ s mission is to ( 1 ) reduce health disparities ; ( 2 ) engage in healthcare workforce development ; and ( 3 ) improve health self-efficacy .
Organization Background : Established in 2007 , CEHC offers comprehensive health care through CHEER walk-in clinic , continuity of care clinic , and specialty clinics as well as wraparound services six days per week in Olneyville .
Brag Lines : Leveraging the support of 25 volunteer providers and nearly 300 nonclinical volunteers , CEHC has provided care to over 14,000 individuals across more than 30,000 visits since inception and is estimated to save the RI healthcare system nearly $ 800,000 annually .
Pay it forward : CEHC heavily relies on support from individual donors and grants as well as dedicated volunteers to continue serving the growing number of individuals in need of care , especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic .

Foster Forward ’ s mission is to empower lives impacted by foster care . We have an unwavering commitment to support children and youth , families , and the child welfare system as a whole , to grow , connect , improve , and move forward .
Background : We support foster youth to become successful adults through our innovative programs that focus on access to affordable housing , financial literacy , and workforce development .
Brag Lines : Foster Forward is now the designated statewide Drop-In Center for homeless and runaway youth . To receive this designation , we recently renovated our office to include a modern Youth Center with an accessible shower and high speed washer / dryer . These renovations were made possible by the Champlin Foundation and the Waterson family .
