Prompts : the greatest love story of your life , a tale of when you persevered , of how you experienced the human condition , how you redeemed yourself or the funniest time you remember . A public storyteller will be on hand to MC our time . Come to hear or to tell . Or better yet — both ! Three primo prizes for the best stories told .

Bauman ’ s Farm and Garden will attend our January luncheon

“ I am dreaming of a pink Christmas !” Who would have ever thought our chairman ’ s idea inspired by an old story book would turn out to be the “ IN ” Christmas
HUBER décor in 2023 . The recent “ Barbie ” movie brought that pink theme back in vogue . Our clubhouse was already decorated beautifully , but our event chairs Judi Hickman and April Marcell made it special with ( you guessed it ) more pink . I never imagined a pink tree could look so beautiful . Guests were served pink-glittered Prosecco as they entered . Our delicious brunch was catered by Cutsforth ’ s from Canby . The darling children from Innovation Dance Studio performed dances to known Christmas carols . What a lovely way to enjoy the holiday season with our friends and family . Thank you to the chairs and committee for all their work to make this event so lovely .
With all the holiday bustle , don ’ t forget to RSVP for our luncheon Jan . 8th , “ From Frosty to Flowers .” Bauman ’ s Farm and Garden will be our featured speaker as it discusses ways to prepare for spring in the garden . The deadline for sign up is noon Thursday , Jan . 4 .
The Dueling Pianos of Roger and Nancy Wilhite will perform for us Feb . 12 at our Valentine ’ s Tea . They are always a big hit and you won ’ t want to miss this special time to celebrate with your friends .
I am making this short as there is much to do at this time of year ; however I wish you the beauty , and the wonder , of a year that brings you happiness . Happy New Year !
