A Golden conference was also held with guest speakers who highlighted the work Zeta Alpha has done throughout the years including a special presentation by one of Zeta Alpha ' s charter members , Soror Georgia Johnson . Several workshops took place throughout the day including a workshop highlighting the importance of leadership skills . A " Stroll Like ZA " workshop was held where past and present members learned a special 50th anniversary stroll . Zeta Alpha ' s supervising graduate chapter , Delta Beta Omega hosted a reactivation workshop , allowing past members to reclaim their dedication to the sorority through active membership . A virtual church service was held allowing attendees to participate in worship together as they winded down from a weekend of events . Additionally , throughout the month of November , current members of the chapter were able to share via social media what Zeta Alpha means to them , highlighting the sisterhood , scholarship , and service that the chapter continuously embodies .
Gamma Epsilon Celebrates Caregiver Day
Bala Cynwyd , PA – In honor of Caregivers Day 2020 , Gamma Epsilon Chapter reached out to their sponsoring chapter Omega Omega and collaborated on a joint story about an undergraduate and a graduate soror who care for their loved ones . Soror Jasmine May from Gamma Epsilon and Soror Caren Ashmon of Omega Omega answered questions regarding being a caregiver . Both sorors expressed their concerns about the peace of mind and comfort knowing that their loved one is safe , has support , meals , and improved mental health . As the giver of care they both agree that you do the best you can , ask for help and remember to take care of yourself in the process .
