The 30 th Annual St . Louis International Film Festival ( SLIFF ) named Twenty Pearls the 2021 Audience Choice Leon Award Best Documentary Winner . The Festival screened 412 films for the festival , including 61 documentary features . Also known as Cinema St . Louis , the St . Louis International Film Festival is an annual film festival in St . Louis , Missouri which has been running since 1992 . The festival screens approximately 300 films over a period of 10 days during November . Additionally , SLIFF is an Academy Award-sanctioned qualifying festival for both narrative and documentary shorts .
