A POSITIVE TREND Despite the on-going difficulties related to the delivery times of electronic components , the positive trend continues to fuel the growth of the company ’ s turnover , thanks also to the addition of new experienced and specialised personnel at every managerial , technical and commercial level , supporting the success of the new products proposed , not only at the Florentine headquarters but also in Spain , where the Meccanoplastica Iberica division specialises in the stretch blow moulding of PET preforms : “ We have enlarged our range ” Mencherini explained “ while sticking to our distinctive corporate philosophy , which is focused on linear , non-rotational machines , and also looking with greater attention to the beverage market , including solutions for

large containers : today we offer machines that can produce bottles up to 30 litres . In addition , with a couple of multi-cavity machines we are now able to reach up to 16 linear cavities , thus meeting the requests for intermediate volumes in terms of hourly output . PARTICIPATION IN K 2022 The Meccanoplastica stand at K 2022 hosted a last-generation fully electric HE extrusion blow moulding machine specially equipped for food related applications , featuring a clamping force of 16 tons , a linear stroke of 850 mm and a very compact footprint - considering that it can also include the two-axis lateral pickers for bottles that could not be exhibited at the fair . It is a regenerative machine with very low consumption levels : for an HDPE grade 5 resin , the in-house tests calculated 0.27 kWh per kg of extruded material , which falls abundantly within Euromap ’ s “ virtuous ” category . The K 2022 exhibition – as always an unmissable event for Meccanoplastica – also provided the ideal stage for showing a “ refreshed ” corporate image . Mencherini concluded : “ While always looking at our tradition and our history , we presented a new logo with some changes compared to the previous one , starting from its brighter and more modern colours . A symbol of the innovation process that has been going on at every level of the group for three years , thanks also to the additional skills introduced in Italy and in Spain . It is a message of relaunch in view of the oncoming 40th anniversary of Meccanoplastica , which was founded in 1983 . Today we are aiming for further decades of growth !”
