hydraulically driven ejection unit ensures ejection with force and speed, but can be replaced with an electric drive, depending on requirements. The barrel motor has increased torque to optimise plasticisation at low melt flow rates. The hydraulic injection system, featuring a servo-pump, accumulators and a double servovalve, represents the ideal combination for achieving injection speeds exceeding 1,500 mm / s, which is necessary for ultra-thin walls. The iQ-Pump offers significant energy savings by shutting down the pump motor unit once the accumulators are charged. The clamping unit, featuring a completely redesigned BMB toggle mechanism, utilises shortened connecting rods and reduced reaction times to achieve rapid opening and closing with perfect parallelism. The movement of the moving table on self-lubricating prismatic guides is particularly close to the centre of the machine, thanks to |
the innovative design of the table, resulting in greater stability and the ability to use particularly heavy, multicavity or stack-type moulds. One of the most important characteristics required of a packaging machine is its durability. This has been the company’ s guiding principle in the machine’ s design from the outset and has informed every design decision, from the base design to the choice of components. At the trade fair, the machine is configured for the production of graduated dosing devices for the medical sector. Key features:
• Ultra-lightweight injection piston, the only moving part in the unit, for maximum speed and responsiveness.
• Hydraulic injection with servo-pump, accumulators and dual servo-valve → injection speed of over 1500
|
mm / s.
• Completely redesigned BMB clamping mechanism for ultra-fast opening / closing and perfect parallelism.
• Self-lubricating prismatic guides and optimised platen design for high loads and multi-cavity / stack moulds.
• Design focus on structural durability → ideal for 24-hour continuous production with minimal maintenance.
ABSOLUTE PRECISION FOR THE CAPS AND CLOSURES SECTOR The eKW38Pi / 2200 Full Electric machine on display at the trade fair produces a flip-top cap for the cosmetics industry; through this application, BMB aims to highlight the extreme flexibility of the eKW series presses,
