MACHINERY [ Injection Moulding ]

The injection moulding area with rotary clamping units
born from the need to differentiate itself against the background of a highly competitive and fast growing market .
A NEW PROJECT In cooperation with Bausano , a manufacturer of extrusion plants , Wintech has developed an interesting project : an injection moulding system fully integrated with the extruder . Since Wintech is a long-standing specialist in rotary injection machines , the idea was to combine a multistation carousel to ensure adequate post-injection cooling of the item and therefore guarantee excellent hourly production rates . All this without the need for any preliminary treatment of the material . The cooling time of the moulded item is a fundamental factors to consider in the design phase of the plant along with the size of the item itself and , especially , the raw material : contaminated plastic waste . A sort of material that is very difficult to separate and recover , obtained from end-of-life electrical cables and electrical or electronic devices , otherwise destined to be disposed of in landfills or in waste-toenergy plants . These are the reasons why the systems developed by the company are completely customisable according to the finished product , starting from the size and type of the Bausano extruder , the injection volume , the size of the mould holder , the number of stations ,
A moulded item made of recycled plastic
all aimed at optimising the injection moulding process and the quality of the finished product , taking as main reference the raw material to be processed . The finished products range from relatively small items , such as tiles , to large and heavy ones such as floor mats , heavy bases for road signs or barriers , road bumps and so on . The combination of two know-hows , Wintech for injection
moulding and Bausano for the extrusion and processing of raw materials , has led to an extremely efficient and reliable solution capable of transforming waste into a new 100 % sustainable product . Therefore the answer to the initial question is yes , it is possible ! Wintech proves it giving a second life to the plastic waste most difficult to recover .
