Our CEO has been wonderful during this time and he has done a great job of communication
through videos with our entire team here at desert mountain. I think the fact that our employees are
still getting financial
Our marketing team created a Flippin' Fridays for the membership which provides all the
departments an opportunity to showcase the weeks' happenings. The employees are able to view
this as well so it gives them hope that we will be returning to normalcy soon. Also, employees are
featured as part of this material so it allows all employees to learn a little bit more about each other.

Site dedicated to our spa associates where I am posting self-care videos, inspirational content, that
is all loaded weekly.
Social online meetings, quizzes and games with furloughed employees, lunch meetings for those
still working, daily team briefings
Stay in touch with staff through Whatsapp. Staff share memes, pictures, or just say hi.
Staying in communication over phone and text. Sending the staff surprise random gift cards in their
mailbox. Inviting staff to join in on professional webinars from other companies. Posting fun,
inspirational, and encouraging social media posts. Re-education with guest relations and spa
protocols. Reminding the team often that we are the confident, safe, kind, professional leaders that
people are looking to and for.
Staying in contact and providing them consistent communication has been extremely important. We
also provided them employee meals while we have been closed and provided some severance to
help during this time including paying for their health benefits during the month of April
Staying in contact and sharing stories of what we are doing. Keeping a "real" conversation going
about the future as we know it right now.
