Deburring and levelling of parts
From 19-21 May 2026, ARKU held its 2026 InfoDays in Baden-Baden, Germany. Just over 200 visitors experienced three days of hands-on experience and ideas for greater productivity in sheet metal processing. The focus was on new solutions for deburring fibre laser-cut and oxyfuel-cut parts, as well as intelligent part handling, precision levelling and laser cutting from coil.
“ Visitors experienced our machines live, saw real-world applications and brought their own parts. ARKU InfoDays are all about hands-on technology, processes you can understand and practical solutions for everyday production,” the surface finishing specialist told ISMR.
Autonomous deburring of fibre laser-cut parts
A key focus of the InfoDays was the autonomous deburring of fibre lasercut sheet metal parts. ARKU’ s new EdgeBreaker ® 3000 FIBER was developed specifically for fibre laser burrs. Powerful sanding belts can remove even hard burrs. Special edge-rounding tools are designed for clean and consistent edges.
“ The EdgeBreaker ® 3000 FIBER processes both sides of a part simultaneously— in a single pass. This reduces processing time by up to 50 per cent. At the same time, process reliability increases. Parts no longer need to be flipped over and quality remains consistent. Live at the InfoDays event, ARKU showcased the combination of a deburring machine and the EasyBot vision robot.

Automatic deburring of small parts
ARKU also presenting a new automation solution for smaller parts: the Workee ® in combination with the EdgeBreaker ® 6000. This deburring machine, equipped with intelligent ARKU Wizard software, was specifically developed for punched and lasercut parts and is particularly suitable for laser job shops.
