In addition, the project includes HAEUSLER’ s Ship Frame Bending Machine( SFBM), which expands the facility’ s manufacturing flexibility considerably. The system enables the bending of profiles with positive and negative radii, as well as equal and unequal angle profiles— capabilities that are increasingly important in advanced ship construction where complex geometries and customised structural elements are becoming standard.
Precision, flexibility and reliability were critical factors for the project, especially considering the facility’ s strategic importance to the region’ s long-term maritime ambitions.
