Tell us about your “lightbulb” moment when you KNEW that performing for a living was your calling. Ricky: When I would curl up in my father’s bass drum and fall asleep to “Dream Big” while he would be playing at the house! George: The first time I got out in front of an audience, the adrenaline and the fun I had on stage told me everything I wanted to know about my direction in life. Justin: The day my mother introduced me to a CARLOS SANTANA vinyl. I use to listen to PAPA ROACH and BLINK 182…stuff like that. As soon as I heard the way Carlos played, I knew that’s what I wanted. I wanted to make the guitar sound as beautiful as that and have that sound of the audience yelling and chanting your name and knowing one way or another—that those people felt something from my playing. David: When I performed for the first time at 11 years old and heard my first applause. If you could share the stage with ANYONE, who/what band would that be? Wally: For me, it’s a tie. I would love to share the stage with RONNIE JAMES DIO and BRUCE DICKINSON. They were and are, two of the greatest front men ever to grace a stage. They could excite an audience like I have never seen…not to mention the vocals. Just amazing! Ricky: I would love to share the stage with my father—dual drumming would be epic! I would also love to share the stage with A VENGED SEVENFOLD, my favorite band. George: Sticking with the similar style of genre as our own, I’d say BREAKING BENJAMIN, SEETHER, 3 DAYS GRACE, etc… Justin: It would have to be JOE SATRIANI. He’s a genius, and an amazing player. I’ve listened and attempted to learn many of his songs. To play a song on stage with him would just be too cool. David: OPETH, TOOL BREAKING BENJAMIN…the list goes on and on.
